The St. John Paul II Life Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit with a three-fold mission:
- Provide Catholic OB-GYN care
- Operate a Crisis Pregnancy Center
- Offer education about pregnancy, NaProTECHNOLOGY, and more.
Thankfully, there are many crisis pregnancy centers in Central Texas. There are four NaProTECHNOLOGY clinics in the state of Texas. But St. John Paul II Life Center is the only center we know of in the nation that addresses all three critical areas under one roof.
Kim comes to St. John Paul II Life Center with twenty years of award-winning healthcare, corporate and academic experience. Her passion for protecting women and babies from abortion extends to graduate school where she researched press coverage of abortion. She’s taken hotline calls for women facing unexpected pregnancies and has spoken at the Texas Rally for Life and Governor Rick Perry’s press conference endorsing the “Choose Life” license plates. As a former adjunct college professor, Kim appreciates St. JPII Life Center’s dedication to education. As a woman who struggled with infertility for 15 years, she knows the value of the Vitae Clinic’s cutting-edge NaProTECHNOLOGY. And, as an adoptive mother, she experiences the beauty of life and the heroism of birth parents through her son and his birth mom.

Abigail Borah, Office Manager and Donor Relations Manager
Abigail brings a unique perspective to St. John Paul II Life Center. A convert to Catholicism, she worked in the pro-life movement on the local and international level, volunteering in crisis pregnancy clinics as well as lobbying and advocating for women and life at the United Nations in Manhattan. She was a St. JPII Life Center volunteer and when she experienced her own unplanned pregnancy, Abigail learned first-hand the difficulties women face in crisis situations and the difference that a life-affirming, supportive environment can make. Two months after she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Religious Studies, History and Liberal Arts Honors, Abigail celebrated her greatest accomplishment – giving birth to her son, Gabriel Frances, whom she calls her miracle and joy. She is excited about her new vocation as a mother and beginning her career at St. John Paul II Life Center.
Since moving to Austin in 2008, Debbie has managed fundraising events for several Pro-Life organizations. In addition, she worked for nine years at one of Houston’s largest Pregnancy Resource Centers where she counseled women and handled the center’s fundraising and event planning needs. “I know that God has called me to this ministry to use my gifts to give women help and hope. I feel privileged to work alongside each person at St. JPII Life Center as we fight for Life!”
